The children that come to us as one thing in common they have no one to love and nowhere to live.
Through FKH we provide these children a place of security and comfort they may always call it home. But these children need more than a home; they need a family, through FKH staff and local Christians we enable them to build a strong relationship.

Hasenasab is from Hubli ,he lost his father when he was 14 years old .his mother was a house maid working in different houses to support her children. Meanwhile she was a cancer patient gradually she became very ill ,could not work and raise her children. She got operated four times and her condition still got worse, during this children were suffering with no food, and no one to look after them. That was the time a friend bought him to F.K.H. when we looked at the condition of the mother and kid, it was very pathetic and we brought the child to F.K.H. and now he is excellent in his study and he is doing his Bachelors in Commerce

Sudha is from a village near 60 km from Hubli. When she was 3 years old her mother died of sickness. Father is alcoholic never responsible towards his children. Father came home every day drunk and beat Sudha and her brother. Sudha’s aunty looking at the condition of this child wanted to help but she also very poor woman with her 3 children. She began search for a place where Sudha can grow in peace and protection. That was the time she came to know about F.K.H and brought her to F.K.H. from that time Sudha is in F.K.H growing well in her studies and spiritually she feels very safe. She wants to be a lecturer, she finished 10thgrade and when she was 18 years she got married and now she is leading a married life

Shivukumar came to F.K.H. when he was 8 years old boy. Now he is 17 years old. His father died when he was 3 years old. In the village his mother was taking care of her children, she then contracted some kind of illness, 4 to 5 months and she died, Shivukumar brought to F.K.H when his mother was alive by one of his uncle. Now he finished (ITI) technical study.

Ramesh is from a village which is 60 Km away from Hubli. He lost his both the parent’s and lived in his village wandering around aimlessely. Someone from village brought him to our social work centre when we were in that village, after looking at him we were compelled to bring him home and counseled him. He is very good boy .we have to work on him for long time undo some rough behavior, now he is very good .He finished 10th grade, and now he is staying with his uncle. He wants to be a social worker

Basamma is one of the first kids to come into the FKH , her father was an alcoholic . Her mother who is very sick had no one to support her in the village and help her send her send her daughter to school. The Condition of the family was very bad. When we had visited that village for social work her Mother approached us and explained her situation, looking at her condition we could not say no to the sick mother. She is been there in F.K.H almost 10 years and she
finished nursing.Bassamma is also a heart patient, and she has been treated.

Harish came to FKH in 2007. He is one of the eldest kid at FKH. He is quite jolly and hard working. His father died of jaundice (liver sickness) and his mother is high diabetic who is always on the bed. That was the time one of their family friend brought Harish to F.K.H. He finished ITI and training in a technology institute. now he is working.
